Grades 4-9 Pick The Grade Level Needed When Registering. 

In this course students will be provided a weekly spelling list to work on, depending on the student's grade level. This course will not cover phonics, spelling rules, and other language arts skills but will focus on a list of words (the amount of words will depend on the grade level). The list will feature common spelling words for the specific grade level, encourage practice at home, and then end each week with a spelling tests. This is a great addition to any homeschool, private or public school curriculum for extra practice.

Each week will consist of:

A New Spelling List Per Grade Level 

Goals To Practice 15-30 Minutes a Day, 3 Days a Week

Quizlet Page (To Listen To Pronunciation & Practice Notecards)

Spelling Test At The End Of Each Week (Graded Online Assessment)

Depending on the grade level, students will be provided a weekly grade level spelling list. The words will be sounded out and shown on the screen using a teacher created Quizlet page. Students will be encouraged to make notecards over the spelling words or print out the provided list for at home practice. During the week students will practice at home with siblings or family members. At the end of the week, a spelling test will be provided (self paced graded assessment). 

Students will be encouraged to find unique ways to learn spelling words that work best for the student's learning style. For auditory learners they will be able to put on headphones and listen to the words sounded out from the teacher created Quizlet page. For visual learners they will be able to see the flipping motion of notecards and interactive games on the teacher created Quizlet page. For hands-on learners they will be encouraged to use shaving cream to use their fingers to write out the words, make the spelling words using play-doh or clay, use magnet letters, or stamping methods.
