Syllabus:
Welcome to 4th Grade Math! I am so excited to be your teacher for this year. This online course is designed to engage students in learning 4th grade level math concepts through interactive lessons, practice assignments, and real-world applications. Students will build an understanding of of how to problem solve and apply essentials skills to their everyday lives.
Course Objectives:
By the end of this course, students will be able to:
Understand and use place value in multi-digit whole numbers.
Perform addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with whole numbers.
Recognize and generate patterns.
Solve word problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Understand basic concepts of fractions and decimals.
Measure and convert units of measurement.
Understand basic geometry concepts including shapes and their properties.
Materials Needed:
Please have a notebook and pencil to follow along with the lessons.
