Full Year Course
This course is perfect for reluctant writers who need a little more practice, but need a writing prompt. Each week your child will be provided a different writing prompt to write on. Along the way students will be taught how to use the hamburger method to add facts to their paragraph and mind map diagrams to help organize their thoughts.
Example Topics:
-Write about your favorite vacation spot.
-Are aliens real? Explain.
-What makes a good friend?
-Who is your hero?
-If you could have a super power what would it be?
Students will be provided a two semester course with a total of 36 writing prompts.
Parents can use this course to teach from at home or use as a supplement to current curriculum. Students can also work independently in the class.
